Company Overview

Our Story Begins

Our story begins in 2011, when passionate entrepreneur Mr. A. B. Ramesar, a multi-talented individual with over 30 years of experience in sales and the FMCG industry, embarked on a new venture. With the support of his wife, Mrs. Ramesar, “Garlic Mate” was reborn in 2015.

From humble beginnings, Garlic Mate Ginger and Garlic products have grown in popularity, known to be a strong family business driven by the Ramesars’ dedication and attention to quality and flavor.

Growing with the Community

As demand for our products grew, so did our operations. In 2017, we expanded our company with the official opening of Kroy Distributions. We invested in modern processing equipment, developed new products, and formed strategic partnerships with suppliers to meet the evolving needs of our growing customer base.

Today, our commitment to quality, sustainability, and community involvement has earned us a loyal customer base and industry recognition.

Innovation and Expansion

Over the years, we’ve continued to innovate and expand our product line, offering a vast range of ginger and garlic products. From our popular Ground Ginger and Garlic to our new freshly packaged Ginger and Garlic with Coriander and an exciting All-Purpose Curry Paste, our product portfolio comprises over 40 household staples.

In 2024, we established a provincial partnership with a local mango atchar supplier (Jabu Atchar), adding 30 products to our offerings. This diverse range provides customers with high-quality, value-added products.
